I agree with the notion that we often relax on the topic of health. We often get struck back to it when we get sick or some one close to us becomes ill. Lucky for most of us, the only illness that we have to think about is common colds, and fever. I also agree to the fact that Stem Cells have great potential to curb our problems with Health. But I guess you raise the point that most people don’t think that the end justifies the means. In this case, a cure for major diseases through stem cells harvested from embryos

Pádraig Ó Céidigh is still the owner of Foinse. The Indo distribute it and handle overheads. This was always the plan right the way through, so it was never let to perish… it just took a break for a while!

Thanks K8 for comment! It’s one of the strangest things I’ve ever heard! UCD are normally very cool as are the “leachtoiri” in the Irish department… It’s just a very odd end to a particularly good course (dioploma sa Ghaeilge Fheidhmeach)!

Ouch. As an ex-pat UCD head I vouch for the fact that any ignorance on that sort of thing is due to the money being spent… elsewhere.
