Knight Rider… KITT’s Ready, Shelby GT500KR!
A few months back I talked about the return of Knight Rider (on my other blog of course!) and this is the photo I have been waiting for and in my opinion what has got to be picture of the year! This time around KITT will be a Ford Mustang, and not a Pontiac Firebird as in the original Eighties hit TV series. For the comeback KITT, which in the new movie stands for Knight Industries Three Thousand, is a 540bhp 2008 Shelby GT500KR. Fans will not be disappointed with the talking car, equipped with a super-computer that can hack into any computer system and a body that morphs into different shapes along with the familiar trademark, red lights on its bonnet. Followers of the original series, will also recognise a familiar face, as David Hasselhoff aka Michael Knight, makes a cameo appearance in the movie. It will be aired in the US on 17 February.
