Welcome to the New Blog. On this site you will find daily reviews and news from the automotive world. Our aim is to build a community of Motoring Enthusiasts and provide a resource for all things motoring, including Driving Tips, Test Drives, Events calendars, Driver safety and contacts for the various motor clubs, from vintage to rally. We also want to hear from anyone who has stories, news, tips, information on up-and-coming events or simply anything they’d like to share with other Motoring enthusiasts.

While this launch is a happy occasion for me here at Patrick James’ Blog, this week has been a very sad week for the entire Motoring World. As we all know, on last Saturday week the much loved Colin Mac Rae and his 5 year-old son Johnny were lost tragically in a helicopter accident. Colin, who won 25 victories in a World Rally Championship career, was a true gentleman of the sport and will be truly missed by all.

As tribute to Colin MacRae’s achievements in Rally Driving and his contribution to the world of motor sport I would like to dedicate this launch to his memory. I would also like to extend my sincerest regrets and sympathies to his wife, Alison, and daughter, Hollie.
